Nokia IP291 security appliance runs Nokia IPSO-VN, a hardened firewall designed for performance and flexibility. It is the smallest footprint of Nokia integrated firewalls yet offers powerful and flexible features:
- disk or flash-based storage options
- half rack mountable appliance (1/2 RU wide and 1 RU tall)
- multi-gigabit performance,
- six ports of 10/100/1000Base-T (RJ45) Ethernet on-board
- an empty PMC slot for optional add-on interface like two port 1000Base-X and two port 1000Base-Ethernet for Nokia IPSO-VN.
Nokia IP291 integrated firewall is currently available in China and South Korea only.
